Creative Solutions

As engineers, we engage in a creative process in much the same manner as artists, authors, and musicians. However, we must create within the constraints of the application being developed and the physical machines on which software runs, much as an architect is bound by the structural characteristcs of materials and the intended function of space.

The pursuit of elegance in our work has lead us to some unanticipated places; for example, once we built a computer-controlled signage prototype for a client from a disassembled radio and LEGO® bricks. Wherever we go, we consider ourselves lucky in that we love technology and are engaged and fulfilled by our creative process. And while the details of engineering artistry may not always be readily apparent, our clients recognize the benefits in easier to use, more reliable, better performing systems.
